Roofers in Bickley

Bickley sits between Bromley and Chislehurst. It's known for its large detached houses and characterful period homes. Roofing quality and appearance both matter on properties like these. That's why we cover the whole BR1/BR7 area with extra care.

First impressions count on a period property. So we take real care matching materials and finishing details on every Bickley job.

On Bickley's larger and older roofs, we carry out heritage slate and tile work, lead flashing, and chimney and ridge repairs. We also complete full re-roofs and high-quality flat roofing on extensions and outbuildings. We match materials carefully to suit each property. Many of these roofs mix slate, tile and leadwork on the same elevation, so we plan the order of work carefully before we start.

Every Bickley job comes with a free survey, a detailed fixed quote and an insurance-backed guarantee. An FMB-registered, fully insured local team backs all of this. The guarantee terms are the same as everywhere else we work. But we take extra care over access and materials here, because these properties are bigger and often older.

On a large detached roof, getting the access and scaffolding right often matters as much as the roofing work itself. So we plan this properly at survey stage, not as an afterthought. It's a detail that matters more on Bickley's bigger, older properties than on a typical semi. Older roofs often need repointing too — read our chimney repointing guide for more.
